Deborah Devar, a formulator for specific essential oils and handmade skin care stands on a solid foundation when it comes to the most efficient and affordable path to gain and maintain health. Rather than focus on disease, Deborah studied cultures where living past 100 years old healthy, happy and disease-free was the norm. Pulling together the common denominators she established a state-approved holistic college to test out the findings. For over 40 years she has tracked the healing progress and process of thousands of repeat clients.

Most of the material that relates to health and nutrition in the media is staged by corporations to prompt product sales, not to support health. Everything we hear is to create fear as part of a money-making agenda because health is free and simple to maintain, it’s called lifestyle medicine; self-care. Whereas a disease is painful, expensive but very profitable for big business. The USA is number one in the world for chronic diseases like heart disease, type 2 diabetes, stroke, cancer, and obesity. All of these chronic diseases are side effects of not supporting the body’s ability to heal and maintain health. If we each adopted an ecologist philosophy towards caring for our human frame a new economy and ecology would emerge through efficiency. This would take preserving and repairing our health and the health of the planet by eating a whole food, plant-based diet that is easily digested and assimilated into valuable fuel while discharging the least amount of waste.

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered:
“Man.. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money.
Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health.
And then, he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”

As humans, we need both emergency medicine and holistic self-care.

Holistic Health Care does not diagnose, prescribe drugs, perform surgeries or claim to cure disease. Holistic health incorporates natural science, biochemistry, physics and psychology into therapeutic treatments and programs designed to best support the body/mind to heal while investigating the physical, mental and social conditions that cultivate disease. Holistic Health Care recognizes our health is synonymous with the health of the planet.
